Christian Peslak of Saint Rich and Delicate Steve will portray David Johansen in an upcoming HBO series about New York City's music industry and the punk community in the late '70s. The series is directed by Martin Scorsese and produced by Mick Jagger, Terence Winter, and Breaking Bad's George Mastras.

Christian was cast by Scorcese after he self-filmed a shirtless audition tape of NYD's "Personality Crisis" on 10 minutes notice in the backyard of a stranger's house in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn.
